Optical sensor instead of a magnet

Instead of a magnet, the contact uses an optical sensor with an infrared light barrier, reducing the installation effort. It detects the status of doors and windows and reports it to your smart home.

Heating and security in one

• Communicates with the radiator thermostat and automatically regulates the heat supply when you air out the room
• A reporting delay prevents unnecessary opening and closing of the valves
• In alarm mode, an unauthorised opening triggers the Homematic IP siren and sends a push notification to your smartphone

Battery and mounting

The lightweight sensor runs for around two years on a single AAA battery. Installation is done with double-sided adhesive tape or the included screws. A brown cover cap and a reflector foil are included. Not compatible with the CCU2.
