The Homematic IP Window and Door Contact Optical plus (HmIP-SWDO-PL-2) reliably monitors whether your windows and doors are open or closed – protecting your home.

Optical sensor instead of magnetic contact

An optical sensor replaces the classic magnetic contact and instantly detects every opening and closing. When you air out a room, the contact automatically turns down the heat supply and saves heating energy.

Security at a glance

When protection mode is active, the sensor sends an alarm to your app upon opening. Combined with a siren, it also triggers a loud signal.
