Once upon a time, back in the distant year of 2020—more precisely, on January 1—our smart home founder, Mario Kremser, armed with nothing more than his unwavering passion for smart home technologies, launched the company smartathome. He dreamed of making homes not only smarter, but also more efficient and safer.

The journey began in a small apartment in Wels, Austria—where else but in the land of mountains and smart home dreams? Mario, a tinker and thinker, looked around and thought, “Why should everyone have to control their smart home with a flood of apps?” This question was so pressing that he decided to create an all-in-one solution.
And voilà, the smartathome system was born!

With the continuous expansion of our systems and a growing network of partners, we at smartathome have become the undisputed experts in Austria. From alarm systems to access control systems, we offer it all.
