With the Homematic IP Access Starter Set, your front door becomes smart. You can open, unlock, or lock the door using the Homematic IP app and check from anywhere to make sure it’s securely locked. Thanks to time-based locking, the door locks automatically—for example, overnight or after each time it’s opened. A keychain remote control is included for those without a smartphone.

The set can be expanded with over 150 products from the Homematic IP range. All permissions and settings are managed in the Homematic IP app. The access point connects your devices to the Homematic IP Cloud, giving you access from anywhere without the need for registration or a user account.

The door lock actuator turns your smartphone into a digital key and allows you to set up custom access permissions, whether permanent or temporary. The keychain remote control also grants access to users without a smartphone. Create custom access profiles for each remote control.
