The Homematic IP Passage Sensor with Direction Detection reliably detects people as they pass by and identifies both the number of people and their direction. With a detection range of up to 4.5 meters and a detection angle of 66°, it works day and night. Ideal for automatic lighting control or triggering alarms. It can be mounted horizontally, and when installed at a height of over 80 cm, it prevents the detection of pets. The sensor is powered by two LR6 batteries for approximately two years.
